44 Units Golden Dragon Electric City Buses to Start Operation in Ningde Soon

On Sept. 1, a grand ceremony was held at Ningde Exhibition Center to mark the delivery of 44 units Golden Dragon electric city buses to Ningde Public Transport Co., Ltd. A number of distinguished guests attended the ceremony to witness the historical moment.

Among the 44 units Golden Dragon electric city buses, 28 units measure six-meter in length and they are particularly designed for community transportation services. With high agility, they have more streamlined bodies, which help them lower wind drag. A number of advanced technologies, such as their front and rear anti-collision systems, lane-deviation alarming systems and driving fatigue alarming systems help Golden Dragon electric buses achieve IP68 protection level. Thanks to introducing light-weight materials and CATL lithium iron phosphate batteries, they represent a new trend in city bus development.

Located in the north of Fujian province, Ningde has been taking a host of measures to promote environmentally-friendly development. So far, it boasts a 425-units bus fleet entirely powered by electricity and 30 electric bus routes.
